What is the most interesting thing you've done as a Local Guide; visit to Clacton on Sea

I took my family to Clacton on Sea, which is a nearby seaside township few miles from Colchester, the place where i live and work. It was a beautiful day in September 2019 when myself, my wife and two children went by train to Clacton pier. There was a planned possession of Hindu God Ganesh that day and lot of people came all the way from London and around UK to be a part of the ceremony. Ganesh God is immersed in the water after offering prayers. We also joined in the prayers and kids loved it as well. It was quiet exciting to watch some people taking giant Ganesh mud statues on their shoulders into the sea water to immerse them completely in water. After this we were given Prasad, food after prayers are done. We sat on the beach side and had tasty Indian food and enjoyed cup of tea as well. After this we went to Clacton Pier and enjoyed the rides and played games. It was really a fun day indeed. We are waiting this year event!
