When I don’t know where to go and what to see. First of all, I open the Google map application on my cellphone and start looking at what I have in the neighborhood. As a result, I always find interesting places to visit and I never regret after. Here’s a look at some of the places I’ve added and my personal impact:
Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament: Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament: I made a big impact by adding photos of Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament to Google map. And it turned out to be the most viewed photo of which I shared. It has been viewed by over 66683 people.
I didn’t have a clear plan of what to see and where to go, while walking around downtown Sacramento/ California. I decided to take a look at Google map and saw the cathedral within walking distance of me. Upon reaching there, I realized that as usual, Google map made a correct decision for me by choosing the place to see and I was delighted. I deeply respect all religions from all over the world. While traveling, I always try to visit local temples in any country. Going inside of this Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament, I was fascinated by the architecture and the beauty of this place. My visit was accompanied by organ music, which plunged me into thoughts of the spiritual and divine things. I stayed there much longer than I had planned. That atmosphere wrapped me with divine energy. This place really charged me with positive energy and I left it with a sense of joy and inspiration.
Ile-Alatau National Park: The second my most viewed photo in Google map was in Ile-Alatau National Park. More than 42 404 people viewed it. The most interesting thing occurred there. The nature of Kazakhstan is particularly beautiful and attracts not only tourists, but also local residents. When I am in my hometown of Almaty, I often try to go to the mountains for the weekend, especially explore little known places. It is impossible to go around the entire park in a few days - there are 42 tourist routes. There are waterfalls, lake, various trekking trails. Little puppies ran out to me on the way, on one of these trips to the waterfall. I was surprised, because there are no people in this area and there was only one wooded house, which I shared on Google map, it was closed that day. I started looking for puppies’ mom, made a circle around the house, knocked on the door, tried to find people, but everything turned out to be unsuccessful. Eventually, I took these two puppies with me, I sheltered one puppy in my uncle’s house and the second I left at my home. Since then a wonderful dog has been living with us in my house. I am grateful to this occasion that I was in that place exactly that day, saved lives of these two sweet puppies and found the best friend of my beloved girl Selena.
Universal Orlando Resort: The third most interesting thing I’ve done as a Local Guide it was my visit to the Universal amusement park in Orlando, Florida. This visit was just absolutely outstanding, even hard to find the right words to describe it. Every amusement ride is so unrealistic that you can definitely forget about everything for one day and immerse into the world of your favorite movies, cartoons and exciting adventures along with the main characters. From the Simpsons, Transformers to the Mummy, Shrek and Jurassic Park, and of course the magical world of Harry Potter. Everything was thought out to the smallest details in a park. These parks are for both children and adults. These parks are more than just amusement parks, they are the whole world, where everyone can find entertainment for themselves. Me and my friend were thrilled to bits.
Adding interesting and unusual places to google map is a great pleasure for me.
