Discovering the World…
Hi I am local guide YUNUS from Turkey’s one of the most beautiful city called Istanbul.
It was one of my most wished dream when I was young. I was always watching documentary on tv channels about the world beautiful and interesting areas. While I was growing up, my those visiting places dream it was not fitting inside me anymore. When I started to work, I saved my money to go somewhere. First, I visited close places from the people around me I have heard. When I was going to see those told places, some time I got bad experience because people has been giving me wrong information about those places and all my money and my time was just flying away. For example, when I went to visit one of the historical places I have heard from the people, it was just frustration. Because that place was not there any more or it was under construction or the food was not good as they told me etc.
After some age I got my own phone and laptop. I started to use the technologies J Specially google. Google had almost everything. One of them is of course google map! Google map has made big changes in my life. Now I could see most beautiful, amazing, historical etc. places around me.
Most of the time I was asking to myself: How come google know so many things about these places? Later on, once google map asked me about one of the places, I have been visited. “Do you like to give your feedback about this place, how was your experience?”
THIS IS HOW I STARTED TO BE LOCAL GUIDE AND “THIS IS HOW I MADE CHANGES IN PEOPLE LIFE VIA GOOGLE/GOOGLE MAPS/ LOCAL GUIDES

When I heard about google local guides gives you some good opportunities after some level, I started to give all daily and true information about the places I visit.
I HAVE BEEN AT 38 CONTRIES AND MANY CITIES TILL TODAY 
And I always tried to write comments, give points, share photos about places I have been.
For example, once I visited one of the historical palace in Istanbul called YILDIZ SARAYI. But when I reached to there, I saw it was under constructions for one-year min. I directly opened google map and told to the people “HEY GUYS DO NOT COME HERE FOR 1 YEAR FROM NOW BECAUSE IT IS UNDER CONSTRUCTION AND IT IS CLOSED!!!” Thousands of people has seen my this comment and they thank me and they did not kill their time unnecessarily coming to there.
Other good example about local food. Any country or any city I go, I tried to recommend to people about eating local meal. Last time I have been at ERZURUM with my wife. There was one very famous meal called CAG KEBAB. I tried this meal at least in 3 difference restaurants. Some of them was very good, some of them was not tasty… and I just wrote about my experience about the meal everything. Also, about the city.
Bu sure that: Me and my wife will always tell to people about everything we saw and experienced in our life to make differences in other’s life via local guides via google
