Hola..!
As a part of @Globe_trotter_Ish 's challenge of Support Women Owned Businesses, adding a beautiful story of Sheetal.
After a long day of travel and exploration around Devgad, all we needed was some good food to refuel.
While strolling near to Windmill garden, came across this lively food street, filled with many food options like momos, spiral potatoes, tea, sandwiches, coconut water, and ice creams.
All foods are good in their own way. But two woman-led stalls caught my attention.
Sheetal’s Swami Samarth FastFood Centre.
Sheetal serves up a perfect mix of comfort and coolness delicious cutlets, sandwiches, and refreshing cold drinks like kokam sarbat or limbu sarbat or flavoured soda just what you need to beat the heat after a long day under the coastal sun🍹 This also fits perfectly under @MathanVibranarayan 's Beat the Heat challenge!
The kokam soda was a total refresher, the kairi Panha was next level.
What really made her stall special wasn’t just the food but the warmth and care with which she serves every dish. Also, she serves food in steel or washable plates and provides steel spoons, which supports @KetanChhaniyara 's Ditch Plastic Spoon challenge
Adding to the beauty of her story, Sheetal’s husband, Hemant, who drives an auto-rickshaw, supports her whenever he finds time. Together, they truly embody the spirit of a power couple, supporting each other’s dreams and making their mark in their own ways.
She listened curiously when I told her about Google Maps and the Women-Oriented Business post.
She even asked me to write about her friend’s stall too (which was already on my list).
Women like Sheetal are inspiring examples of passion, resilience, and friendship.
A big salute to Sheetal and all the amazing women-led businesses out there making a difference.
