Support Local LGBTQ+ 🏳️‍🌈 Friendly Businesses with Chai Pe Charcha 🫖

Hy Local Guides, :teapot::rainbow_flag:

On this Pride Month, let’s raise our team cups to celebrate Inclusivity and Diversity as part of Support Local LGBTQ+ :rainbow_flag: Friendly Businesses on Google Maps and Chai Pe Charcha of @TusharSuradkar.

Tea shops are not just a business for dine-in but also a community space for diversity and inclusiveness. This month, let’s celebrate Pride Month by having tea & conversations.

Ochaya, a woman owned :woman_frowning: tea shop at Ambalamukku. They were newly opened with adding Accessibility features & having sustainable ways of running a tea shop.

Even though the word “Ochaya” doesn’t have separate meaning in Malayalam but it has on Japanese. It means “Tea house” in Japanese.

Their menu shows variety of tea products from hot to cold. They even serves boba tea which is rare to be seen in a tea shop. They proudly shown the shop is woman owned by placing a sign on the shop.

Dine in cups are glass with paper cups :recycling_symbol: as takeaways. They also uses paper straws for cold drinks.

The tea shop is wheelchair accessible with wheelchair accessible :wheelchair_symbol: & unisex (gender neutral) :restroom: bathrooms. They also have handwashing area with proper disposal bins.

Here’s my review for them.

Let’s support Local inclusive tea shops on Google Maps in this Pride month with participating in Chai Pe Charcha.

Congratulations on this wonderful post that participates in several challenges at once - Menu, Sustainability, Chai pe Charcha, LGBTQ+ friendly businesses, and accessibility.

Completely agree with and nicely put across “Tea shops are not just a business for dine-in but also a community space for diversity and inclusiveness” - fantastic :+1:

All photos, especially the banner, are fabulous as always.

Congratulations @Rahul001 for sharing this post.
