Story of a Food Lover Local Guide

When I go back to the memory lane and think of the time when I got to know about the local guide program, I can clearly recall how fascinated I was with this concept. The idea of helping a global community to grow and help the explorers is beyond amazing.I proudly entitle myself as a food lover and exploring new food, learning about it, going to those places makes me happy and excited. Whenever I travel to a new place my soul purpose is to explore and enjoy local delicacies. The local guide community has always helped me to learn about local foods, where can I find those, and the most interesting and if i may say so, funny part is that people who are travelling with me get so surprised with my research and how do I know about all the detailed information about the food of a new place.

This program has helped me to grow as a food lover, my knowledge and experience about soulful food has enhanced a lot, through this program. I strongly believe that “when you have knowledge, gained from the life experience it reflects through your personality”, and that is the reason a I am now so confident when I talk about food.

I remember my trip to Shimla, which was actually a staff retreat program and we were exploring the mall road, and enjoying some delicious local style Momos there and ended up in Indian Coffee House.

Another very interesting trip was to Goa. Goa is a beautiful amalgam of different cultures, experiencing it with the help of the local guides was super fun and easy.

At the end of the trip when I can share my own stories is super fun and satisfying.

Now being a part of this community, when I am writing this post I feel a global reach. Sitting at home in these troubled time that the entire world is facing, my ideas can still reach overseas through this. The explorer and food lover in me has grown everyday, learned every moment with all the local guides.
