In July, Local Guides from Argentinaorganized a series of entertaining meet-ups to introduce different parts of their country. The latest recaps show the diverse beauty of Patagonia and the Northern region. “[Recap] Meet-Up ¡Pueblos Mágicos de México 2da. Edición!”
Did you know that there are 121 registered Magical Towns in Mexico? These are rural places that attract with their distinctive atmosphere, local crafts, beautiful nature, and more. In @Bere_Marichi 'srecap you have the chance to visit five such magical places and learn at a glance how to reach them, what their names mean, what places, dishes, and activities not to miss there. Some of these places could even make it to your bucket list!

@KarenVChin and @Kwiksatikteamed up to talk about Google Maps lists and how they help local communities and businesses while also showcasing the unique passion of every Local Guide. Karen’s recap is full of tips, creative ideas, and wonderful examples of great lists. “[Re-cap]: Let’s talk about photos on Maps”
To celebrate World Photography Day, @Globe_trotter_Ish and @PaulPavlinovich hosted a virtual meet-up about what photos are suitable for Google Maps and how to improve their quality. Isha’s happiness about the successful event is evident in her positive recap, where, true to herself, she shares the most important tips from the meet-up, together with a photo album and a video link. “Recap- “Limpiémos Maps” Virtual Meet-Up”
Spanish-speaking Local Guides joined @SilvyC 's virtual meet-up to discuss how they tackle spam on Google Maps and make edits. Inspired by @JanVanHaver’s Local Guides Clean The Map (#LGCTM) campaign, Local Guides from Mexico, Peru, Colombia, Chile, and Argentina shared their knowledge and experience with cleaning the map in their area. Accessibility
“RECAP: Indonesia Accessible Virtual Meet-Up”
Local Guide @doc_dells recently hosted her first accessibility meet-up, and it was a roaring success. In front of an audience of 37 Local Guides from different countries, she presented her positive examples of adding accessibility contributions to places in her region. @doc_dells also had a guest speaker, who talked about their outstanding local business, dedicated to providing job opportunities and a pleasant space for people with disabilities. Bringing communities together

One of the recent monthly virtual meet-ups of the Brazilian and Portuguese-speaking Local Guides communities saw its highest number of attendees yet. @AlexandreCampbell happily shares this fact in the eventrecap, which also talks about one important discussion the Local Guides had: what is it being a Local Guide during a pandemic and how to keep adding valuable contributions.
