This follows the idea shared by Connect Moderator @SholaIB during the February 2026 meet-up. We discussed the issue of multiple achievement posts and agreed to have one common thread each month to keep everything organized and easy to follow.

The impact we create:
Every road we add helps make Google Maps more accurate and reliable. Better road data means smoother navigation and support for emergency services. These efforts are creating a meaningful impact in places where they are needed most around the world. Every contribution truly makes a difference.

P.S. Normally, we receive the emails during the first week of the month (on different dates for different people). I started this thread on the 1st so that whoever receives the email first can share their highlights here in the comments.

Hi @khmansour1, thank you for the comment. I’d like to share my experience. In Road Mapper, we don’t have an option to select a road type. We mainly rely on the satellite image. I draw roads that look generally usable for common transport and accessible to most vehicles. I avoid drawing roads that appear to be pedestrian, bicycle-only paths, walkways.
@PrasadVR@SholaIB It’s the 6th day of May and I haven’t received the email for April yet. This is highly unusual. I also note that as I do my daily contributions, none of my places are starting at zero. The previous round of drawing in the 10 countries remains unjudged by the team, and is listed as Pending. Therefore our % of accuracy will look low if it is indeed published now.
@tony_b, I received approvals up to 26th April. It is noticed that the situation is like this for many months. We receive an email after the evaluation of all our contributions for that month, and I believe the percentage shown is for the whole month.
