I sure will keep that in mind for the next time
@MarkAuchincloss Sounds like a great family trip! @PeteMHW is based in Clitheroe and going to CL too. You guys should touch based whilst in Dublin although I suspect you’ll be busy with the TRAC bunch too!! So many top Roadsters will be in Dublin!!
@Katarina_Cibikova Thanks for signing up!!! You’ll be in good hands with the CL attendees and then the EM group will help keep the party going! ![]()
@Kumaarsantosh Thanks so much!! Our path still hasn’t crossed in person yet though. ![]()
@curatorofmemory Don’t trust the European moderators to teach you anything!! They just like to do dance videos ( @LuigiZ
) ![]()
@keithlabeau @Erna_LaBeau You two are everywhere!! Are you doing Key West by any chance?
@SwetaDhondoo Non-Local Guides are definitely welcomed to EuroMeetup! We don’t have a strict policy and are happy to welcome everyone who enjoys travelling into the family! Please get your +1s to register using the form too (or you can submit on their behalf… you can use you your email address too.. as long as we can reach them through you, that’s good enough for us!)
@TheRealKristin @PeteMHW Oooh.. don’t go changing your travel arrangements if you’ve already confirmed them! The Google team will have my head for causing any disruption!! Appreciate the spirit but any amount of time you can spare for EuroMeetup will be more than enough! ![]()
Wohoo … all the best for the EUROMeetUp 2026 @AdrianLunsong and all Europe LG! ![]()
@iyudhi That’s the hope but I reckon most have already confirmed their travel arrangements. There are a few on the waiting list that have been offered a spot so they can still pick dates to include EM too!
@KhamphoutS Thanks very much! Did you get an invite for Singapore in July?
@doc_dells Thanks very much!! Did you get an invite for Singapore? And are you going to MUN5 in Bali?
Hi @AdrianLunsong, Yes, I’ve been invited to Singapore and am already signed up for MUN5 Bali. I wish I could join the EURO MeetUp 2026 ![]()
@doc_dells Congrats on Singapore!! I wish I could attend MUN5 but I’m in the UK in September
It looks like so much fun too!
It’s uncertain with our work but we are hoping that we can make it time will tell ![]()
Great! Thanks @AdrianLunsong I will do the needful once visa is cleared ![]()
Unfortunately no, @AdrianLunsong Keith @keithlabeau and I have already made an arrangement since last year with our friend @TusharSuradkar at the same week with the Key West.
@doc_dells, when is MUN in Bali?
25-27 Sep 2026 mbak, yuk datang mbak @Erna_LaBeau ![]()
Ntar liat schedule ya hadoh pengen banget nih @doc_dells
@AdrianLunsong yes was invited to ConnectLive Singapore this July. hopefully to meet up and connect with more local guides overthere.
@Erna_LaBeau MUN5 is so tempting isn’t it especially after seeing all the recaps of past events! And have a great time meeting up with @TusharSuradkar ! It’s a shame you all can’t head down to Key West!
@KhamphoutS Congrats on your invite! I’m sure it’ll be a great one!
On a side note, I was thinking about how much overlap there is between EuroMeetup past attendees and ConnectLIVE Dublin and these are my thoughts/understanding. Feel free to correct or comment on ![]()
ConnectLIVE 2025 regional split:
- New York = North America + South America + EMEA
- Bengaluru = South Asia
- Tokyo = SEA + East Asia + Oceania
ConnectLIVE 2026 regional split:
- Dublin = EMEA
- Singapore = South Asia + SEA + East Asia + Oceania (aka APAC)
- Mexico City = North America + South America
Personally, I think this year has a better split and balance. For instance, there are geopolitical issues that make visa application difficult for some attendees depending on the country they are trying to get to. So, if I’m not mistaken ConnectLIVE Bengaluru was predominantly attended by India Local Guides which has its pros/cons (pro: more seats available for India Local Guides community; con: less exposure to Local Guides from other regions)
So, for ConnectLIVE 2026, there will be less India Local Guides attending (compared to last year) but by combining APAC regions together, those attending will meet Local Guides that they would not normally get to meet. I was also moved by @Velvel 's experience at ConnectLIVE Bengaluru (as recounted in @Kumaarsantosh 's excellent Ghumakkad chat series) where the mixing of cultures creates such a unique and enriching experience for all parties involved.
Anyway, back to my main point, ConnectLIVE Dublin is now focused on the EMEA region so this year, there are more seats available to EMEA Local Guides and the knock-on effect is that quite a number of past EuroMeetup attendees are now attending the Dublin event.
I’m obviously biased as a past host of EuroMeetup (2024), but I’m super chuffed to see Local Guides who joined EuroMeetup for the first time last year in Lucca, Italy, getting invited to Dublin. ![]()
We will for sure, @AdrianLunsong. ![]()
Thank you for your insightful words on the Ghumakkad Gossip Meet-up series.
I wholeheartedly agree that the coming together of different cultures creates a uniquely enriching experience for all participants.
