Why do I like writing reviews:
I am a regular traveller. I have travelled extensively. I love to visit places and click pictures of the places. Before I use to take pictures in a camera, and show the photographs to my friends and relatives and explain them regarding the places, I write down in a note book right from planning till the end of the travel. I still do that.
That was confined only to friends and relatives. Now in Google Maps I write my reviews so that everyone in the society are benefitted. I love to write reviews in Google Maps. This is my place where I share my views. Whenever I visit a place I have some experiences. Whether good or bad, I express them in Google Maps.
What is my motive behind writing reviews:
I do this because I feel everyone should have a clear idea about the places before they visit them. Mainly information should be available regarding the timings, whether bookings should be done beforehand, the costs and what difficulties they may come across. This is mainly because if we share our experiences, it will be helpful to others to take precautions. THIS IS MY FOREMOST & IMPORTANT IDEA IN WRITING REVIEWS in Google Maps. This will help both the owner and the visitor.
How do I write reviews:
Based on my observations I write in reviews, what I want or expect to know before going to a place. Based on my reviews I add photographs supporting my reviews.
Now through mobile phones we have a chance to take pictures and upload to Google Maps. Then why should no we do? As I mentioned before our reviews will help both the owners and the users.
How do our reviews help the society:

The above link is my review about Night Safari by Tram in Singapore. Wherein I have mentioned about wheelchair
accessibility to tram. I got a reply from the owner and I edited my review by adding the reply of the owner, so that it helps those with wheelchair accessibility needs.
The above is the screenshot of the reply from the owner.
Some reviews I write very detailed, where it requires.
I write reviews which gives necessary information. Many of my reviews are neither too short nor too long. Only if it is necessary I write long reviews. This increases our visibility. Below is the picture of the views of my reviewed photographs.
How a good review should be:
My suggestion is, please avoid writing too short reviews, because it won’t give required necessary information. At the same don’t write very long reviews because people may not have time to read completely. Write about the facilities available and also not available.
Our aim to write reviews is to help the readers with proper information about the place and underlying factors which make them decide and take precautionary measures.
Write reviews based on your own observations and experiences. Don’t write others views. Write reviews simple and understandable. Make them little interesting.
I take pride to mention that, almost all of my reviews, got replies from the owners. My reviews too got many, many views. Below is the screenshot of my milestone on reviews in a short span.
Below are the links of my recent visits and also my favorite reviews.
I surely believe my reviews will help our society and will be of great use at large. I feel that it is my duty to share my knowledge and experiences by contributions through Google Maps. Thanks in advance for reading my post.
