Sub: This is a request to convert a ‘Virtual to Hybrid Meet-up’
I applied for a Mega Meet up of ‘All South Indian LGs’ (LGs from five States) and was approved promptly. Unfortunately, though this is a ‘HYBRID” meet us, I wrongly selected ‘Virtual’; this was edited/corrected two days back - but, it is still showing Virtual, which is confusing many LGs and LGs are reaching me directly to clear the doubt. I am also doubting whether the ‘Virtual’ title will reduce physical attendance.
So I humbly request you to correct (Approve my ‘Edit’) the ‘Virtual Meet up as a “HYBRID” meet-up.

Can you please try to edit your meet-up again, choosing the correct type and location? I’ll make sure to approve it quickly.
If this doesn’t help, we’ll escalate this issue to our technical team to investigate. As @ErmesT said, luckily there’s still time, so we’ll do our best to make this meet-up appear as it should.

Thanks for making the changes! The meet-up appears with the correct type now, and I updated the title to remove the word “virtual” to avoid any confusion.

Yes, I got it via Bell Icon Notification; there was no email.
in fact, I received a similar notification for the ‘Top Movers & Shakers Leaderboards Champion -2024’ for which the badge was added properly - in this case also, there was no email.
We don’t have a badge for Meet-up Champions currently, only for Accessibility Champions.
Regarding the “Trusted photographer badge,” it was actually removed from the profiles of all Local Guides who used to be part of the Street View Trusted program following the closure of the program last year (you might have received an email like this one about it). Since the program is no longer running, no badges or promotional materials can be used.

Would you kindly accept my request to consider providing a prestigious ‘Badge’ for Meet-up Champions also, please? Kindly do the needful or escalate it to the appropriate authority to sanction the same. Surely it will be a great gesture from the LG’s Official Team and a massive motivation for all the present and future ‘Meetup Champions’, please.

I heard back from the team about the New Solutionist badge. It turns out that you received the notification because one of your responses got marked as a solution. However, that response was later un-marked as the solution, so the badge was revoked. That’s why it’s not shown on your profile.
But, if another response of yours gets marked as a solution (and remains that way), you will get notified again!
