How can you stop local guides just giving random star ratings to boost their level?
The guide in question is Se L***n (edited to comply with rules), she gave us a 2 star rating yet has never been to our business (we are a boarding cattery, from her timeline she lives 200 miles away and was passing by on a motorbike, hardly a cattery customer), checking through other ‘reviews’ she has given another place 1 star with the comment “never been” she is the sort of person who gives the guide system a bad name and should be stopped.
The solution is to tagg a moderator as mentionnend here:
.::Reporting a Local Guide

The orignal post was here below and the answer is at the end of the page.
In the future, please follow the indications given by @Julien44 for reporting a local guide, and for tagging a Google Moderator.
In the meantime, for everyone’s privacy, please edit your posts, removing the name of the Local Guide. It is not needed here, and you will be able to give all the information, in private mode, directly to Google, when contacted. Please consider the this kind of activities are performed during business hours only, so you will probably contacted on next Monday
