Multiple Google accounts appear to be involved in coordinated spam and
deceptive activity on Google Business Profiles and Google Maps listings. These accounts are uploading misleading or unauthorized photos, adding fake or incorrect phone numbers, and making fraudulent edits intended to redirect customers away from legitimate businesses. The activity appears organized and repeated across multiple listings, violating Google policies related to spam, misrepresentation, impersonation, and deceptive content. Evidence including screenshots, profile links, and examples of repeated abuse is attached for investigation.
Please explain who this is hurting (Maps link) and elaborate what harm you think the photos are doing. What is your relation to the business being hurt?
We have no way if knowing who changed some phone numbers. But reverse lookup of the new phone number might help us understand who is behind this.
The issue is that these accounts are uploading photos to many different Google Business Profiles while using the same phone numbers across unrelated businesses. The phone numbers shown in the uploaded photos are not the real business numbers of the profiles they are being added to.
This is misleading customers and may redirect calls away from legitimate businesses. The same phone numbers and similar photos appear repeatedly across multiple unrelated listings, which suggests coordinated spam or lead hijacking activity rather than legitimate customer photo uploads.
I am reporting this because it is harming legitimate businesses by creating false business information on Google Maps.

Report the Spammer’s Entire Profile (Best for Repeat Offenders)
If a specific user is systematically uploading fake photos across multiple locations, reporting their profile flags their entire history for a policy review.
**1.Locate their profile:**Mobile App Only.
Open the Google Maps app and find one of the fake photos they uploaded. Tap on the spammer’s username at the top of the photo or review to open their public Local Guides / Contributor profile.
**2.Access the menu:**Top-right corner.
Once you are looking at their profile page, tap the More menu button (the three vertical dots ... on Android or horizontal dots on iOS).
**3.Submit the report:**Select reason.
Tap Report profile. You will be asked to select the reason for the violation. Select Fake Engagement and/or Misrepresentation or the option that best describes their spam behavior, then submit.
Thank you for reporting the accounts. I have already shared them with the relevant team to take action.
Please note that I have removed the screenshots and the links from your topic. We do not encourage Local Guides to share private information publicly on Connect to protect yours and other users’ privacy and safety.
