My journey as a review on local guide in karachi

Hi everyone,

I wanted to share my unique experience as a Level 5 Local Guide from Karachi, Pakistan. When looking at Connect, I often see amazing photos and videos from around the world. But today, I want to talk about the power of words!. I focus 100% on writing detailed, honest, and helpful text reviews. I believe that providing clear information about shop timings, seating, parking, behavior of the staff, and the actual quality of products is just as important as a picture.

To my fellow guides who might hesitate because they don’t share media—don’t worry! Your words matter, and they help local communities every single day.

I would love to know: Are there any other text-focused guides here? How do you make your reviews more helpful?

Best regards,
Saba

Hy @Saba1,

Congratulations :tada: on reaching Level :five:. It is so refreshing to read your perspective. While photos :selfie:t3: catch the eye, honest & detailed text reviews :writing_hand:t3: are truly the backbone of Google Maps, they capture staff behavior, service & practical details a picture never can.

Tagging @KashifMisidia here, as he is from Pakistan :pakistan:.

Hello @Saba1 and welcome to Local Guides Comment.

Nice to meet you! It’s wonderful to see women making such fantastic contributions on Google Maps and Connect, and actively exploring ways to make them even better.

There is a vibrant community of Google Maps contributors in Pakistan who regularly organize meetups, like the mega meetup that took place in Karachi just yesterday evening.

Stay connected with the community and keep up the great contributions! If you ever need any help or guidance, my dear friend @Rahul001 and other members, along with myself, are always here.
Just make sure to put an “@” before the username when mentioning someone so that I, or whoever you are trying to reach, receive an email notification and can respond to you quickly.
