Through all my life, as a woman from Ukraine, I have always felt that businesses have to improve their qualities, services and customer experiences. For many years living in Ukraine and later on living in Asia in countries such as Kazakhstan, China, Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan and travelling many times to Russia, I felt that people are not protected because they cannot share their experience publicly if the quality was low or if the goods or services were many times not acceptable. I was always looking at the possibility to inform the public as to which businesses were reliable and which businesses the public should avoid. Since I discovered Google Local Guides, and how powerful it is I immediately started to share my experiences about services, companies and goods through the internet to the public. When I moved to live to the USA and last year started my master program in London UK, I realized that after I posted the reviews, many businesses contacted me many times trying to improve their services, and I started to see that the quality of those businesses became higher or those businesses went out of the market. Local Guides, not just help to show the review of the particular business, thereby attracting new customers and also helping businesses improve their quality. When I mention that I am a Local Guide level 7 with over millions of views, many times, I would receive many benefits such as free desserts, coffee, teas, discounts and so forth. I love to create videos, and I cannot wait to unlock Director feature in Local Guide to upload my videos from places I am visiting. I feel that to be a part of the community of Local Guides will definitely change the world for the better, improving customer experiences and business development.
