Love is in the Air - I ❤ Pune

I love the challenge by @Rahul001Love is in the air and on the Map’.

Valentine’s Day is around and is not always about cakes, and chocolates.

There are many other things around to fall in love with.
These include cities, restaurants, neighborhoods, schools, squares, trade fairs, and palaces.

And once you love something, you start seeing it everywhere.
For example, the city I made home 25 years ago - Pune.
This city of dreams gave me a job, a comfortable, enjoyable, content life, and new friends. I started my family here and met wonderful local guides as well among other amazing stuff.

I have heard that this trend started in Amsterdam.
The I  Pune sign is installed at 3 places in Pune that I know.

This one is at the Ganesh Bhel Chaat Cafe on Karve Road.

We gathered here for a meetup last week that was hosted by @framesbysumedh.

These signs are installed as selfie points with the primary aim of attracting customers.
Some other attractions nearby are:

  1. Erandwane Fire Museum.
  2. Karve Road Clock Tower.
  3. Joshi’s Museum of Miniature Railways.

How to reach:
The nearest one is the Nal Stop Metro Station.

Another sign is outside an automobile dealer on Paud Road.

Whenever I pass in front of it, I feel super proud of being a Puneite or a Punekar in Marathi.

Other nearby attractions are:

  1. Vanaz Clock Tower.

The Vanaz Metro Station is the nearest one to reach here.

Another I  Pune sign is installed by the legendary Sukanta Thali Dining Hall.

This is in their waiting lobby. People spend time here taking selfies as they wait for their turn to enter the hall.

I’ve heard there is another I  Pune sign outside the Amanora Township Mall.

I will visit on Saturday on my way to attend the meetup by @Suruchi1.

Does your city have an I  MyCity sign?
Capture a photo and share it in the comments.
