Valentine’s Day is around and is not always about cakes, and chocolates.
Stuff you can fall in love with include cities, restaurants, neighborhoods, schools, squares, trade fairs, and palaces.
This post shows my love for my city - Pune.
This post shows my love for a cafe in town.
This post shows my love for a small business trade fair in Pune.
Last month me and @ShubhamWaman were riding on his bike in search of a new clock tower that we heard about in Pimple Saudagar.
Top local guide in Pune @NERKARAMIT also lives in this area.
On the way, we passed a traffic roundabout called the Kokane Circle.
I asked Shubham to slow down and clicked this photo:
10 years ago I worked in a building adjacent to this circle.
The building is called Rainbow Plaza and this sign was not there.
What is famous here?
A lot of eateries and street food.
The famous City Pride cinema theater is nearby.
The famous 8 to 80 Park that also hosts a clock tower.
How to Reach
The PMT bus has a bus stop here.
Also the Shri Charbhuja Temple is nearby.

I hope you meant by “you didn’t understand what love is in the air meant by”. From February 7th to February 14th is Valentine’s Week. So love is in the air means to give and take love from our community. It also signify how local guide can show love to what they contribute to the Maps. For example as Tushar was searching for clock tower, he saw the love symbol with city sign and he took it. May be he loves the city or loves to take photo which he may someday he going to use of it. I don’t much how to meant that but as a local guide, this valentine’s day can be shown how to love our community and show how we love to contribute!
