In many countries local guides have their community. They meet in their meet-ups and events. And worldwide local guides meet in Connect Live program. This program is registration and selected basis.

This is the official home for local guides where they meet, learn from each other and share their skills, photos and interesting topics globally. As @Saiyen mentioned, you can find other local guides by attending meetups or host one your self, and have others to join you as a host, to see a list of upcoming meetups, just follow the link shared above. Another way to reach out to local guides from your area is trough social media channels such as Facebook, Twitter and others, currently we have Local Guides World which serve as our global local guides group, you can join the group, ask for local guides from your country and city, I am sure they will be able to respond and host a meetup with you.
