The Liberty Bell in Philadelphia is an 2080-pound icon of American freedom.
The bell features a biblical inscription
When you visit there do not miss the famed crack.
I was in Philly in 2019, and the Market Street where the bell is on exhibition was walking distance from my hostel.
Surprisingly, the bell is available to view for free, and there are no entry tickets.
Although on the day I visited, there was a long queue and security checks were strict. So I advise not to carry any type of bag or luggage, even if it is allowed.
It was a lifetime experience posing for a photo in front of the Liberty Bell since I have been reading about it since my school days.
How to Reach?
I took a mega bus from Washington to here.
Flights are available - I avoided them since taxis to and from airports are costly.
Where to NOT Eat?
Their bread and service were terrible PrimoHoagies.
Where to Stay?
I stayed in this hostel.
Other Attractions in Philly

Wow…you have a great collection of memories @TusharSuradkar.
Learning for me about Liberty Bell.
I was there in Washington DC way back in the year 2006 but couldn’t visit Philly.
