It’s were ppl go for meeting n other things to do with the kids not sure on what else I live close by but i don’t really pay attention to what thy do all the time

Our goal should not simply be to post more information, but to provide accurate information that people can trust.
We can make a difference by sharing genuine experiences, giving clear directions, mentioning important safety considerations, and highlighting peaceful and welcoming places. I am Shashonami from a beautiful village in Rajshahi, Bangladesh.
I am new here and excited to be part of this amazing community.
I love exploring the natural beauty around me and sharing it on Google Maps to help others discover hidden places.

These photos are from my village. The green rice fields and bamboo trees make Rajshahi so special to me.

To find other local guides from your city, area or country, you can use search option of the connect, which you can see on the top of your screen on connect, just type your city, area or country, you will surely find some fantastic local guides there.
And as the other option, I will recommend you to creating a Meet-up
By this interested Local Guides can indicate their interest and participate.
Since you are new to the Community here are the steps of creating a meet-up:
- Create an event on the site of your choosing
- Visit the Meet-ups page on Connect And on this page you can also join any meet-up for gaining experience for your first meet-up.
- Click “Create” and then “New Meet-up” and enter all information (including your event link if it’s virtual)
- Find Suitable tag for your meet-up
- Submit time and date correctly
- Don’t forget to add a banner or photo
- Click submit
Once your submission is approved, it will be added to A Dedicated Section for UpComing Meet-ups where you can view and search activities.

Hello Everyone !!

3. What led you to become a Local Guide: I started using Google Maps in India since 2008 i remember, while i was using a Java and Symbian Phone i used the maps in opera browser and was using it to get direction, places location in Delhi while doing studies and later search of Job. It helped me in a lot of ways. I actively participated in Map Maker when it launched in India and Mapathon
, I always believed in that the Maps must be accurate and people around us and ourselves must always keep the Maps accurate, thus i became a active participant in Map being a local guide, reviewing and editing every place I visit around world and where ever I see Maps need to be corrected.
Also I actively participate because a lot of Maps data is wrong when you see from satellite, so we need a good local guide to review and edit the places. A lot of places in Maps and roads still take us to wrong place or wrong road where it can be very difficult to person like me specially in India and small cities of India.
Also in other countries and cities the Maps need to be correct for specially tourist.
4. My favorite thing to explore: There is no particular thing as fav for explore, I explore everything where I visit, how I visit, for e.g. food joint, restaurant, hotel, attraction, roads to the location, I keep on taking new roads to my destination, I love exploring new city and places.
5. Fun fact about me: I am still figuring the fun fact about me.. LOL
I edited 1000+ ATM names or categories in Maps alone !!
