I saw that you are a pro photographer. So I of cause wanted to see some of your photo contributions on Maps. But I could not. If you want others to see your photos and reviews under your Maps profile you need to change your Maps settings to not be a restricted profile.

Hello Local Guides Connect World! I’m new to the forum and wanted to say Hello!
Name: Gabe
Location: North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, USA
What I love about being a Local Guide: I love being able to support local businesses and help others discover places they might have overlooked. Whether it’s a hidden gem or a must-visit spot, it’s rewarding to know my reviews and photos make a difference.
My favorite thing to explore: Food scenes wherever I go—especially local markets, seafood spots, and authentic mom-and-pop restaurants. Bonus points if there’s a great view.
Fun fact about me: I plan vacations down to the snacks and sunscreen but always leave space for a little spontaneous fun—like last-minute stops at roadside fruit stands or sunset beach strolls.
Name: Hafiz Muhammad Saqib Location: Lahore, Pakistan
What I love about being a Local Guide:
Being a Local Guide gives me the opportunity to support local businesses, share honest experiences, and help others make better choices through my reviews, photos, and edits on Google Maps. It’s a great way to give back to the community and make everyday exploring more meaningful.
My favorite thing to explore:
I enjoy discovering local food spots, cultural places, and lesser-known locations that showcase the true spirit of a city. Exploring new places always brings fresh inspiration.
Fun fact about me:
I’m a digital marketer and entrepreneur. I run several ventures including a Goat and Cattle Farm and a digital marketing agency under HMS Group PK. I recently expanded my business internationally with an LLC registered in Florida, USA.
Looking forward to connecting with fellow Local Guides and continuing to contribute to our global community!
Thanks for the kind words! I just updated my Maps settings and disabled the restricted profile.
You can now view my photos and reviews directly on my profile.
Looking forward to sharing more with this awesome community!
If you want more photo views on Maps here are a few tips:
It is considered a bit lazy to take photos without getting out of your car
Daylight is preferred over night photos.
Try to avoid redundant photos like the ones you posted here. Also, all photos should clearly show the place. These come across as photos of cars in a parking lot.

What I love about being a Local Guide:
As a Local Guide, I love helping both locals and tourists discover hidden gems in Singapore—from underrated hawker stalls to newly opened cafés tucked away in quiet neighborhoods.
I see it as a way to support small businesses & brands, helping others make informed choices in my small way. Every time someone finds a place they enjoy because of my reviews, it makes contributing feel worthwhile.
My favorite thing to explore:
Lately, I’ve been passionate about exploring culturally diverse food spots and community-driven spaces.
Thanks to the social connections and prior networking events, Singapore has been an enriching melting pot of cuisines, and I enjoy documenting unique fusion menus or heritage dishes that tell a story. Facts tell, Stories sell, but factual stories compel - Amos Lau, 2025
I also like highlighting service quality and ambience to give people a full picture before they visit especially as a fellow Chinese Gen Z Singaporean.
Fun fact about me:
I often ask restaurant owners what they personally recommend—sometimes it leads me to unexpected favorites, but other times it’s hilariously off the mark. Either way, it makes for a fun experience (and a more interesting review!).
