3. What I love about being a Local Guide:
Contributing to google maps started by coincidence when i first tried to add a picture to a place that has no reviews and ended up as a passion. I truly love taking pictures of each place i visit, what i eat and what i do, knowing that those simple contributions will be helping someone else makes me want to do my best especially that l’m originally from a small city in south Tunisia and 5 years ago it lacked a lot of places and informations so I’m feeling really proud that i made it easier for a lot of people when visiting my hometown. Just like google maps helps me to find my destinations and planning where to go to.
4. My favorite thing to explore:
I love finding abandoned places, historical monuments and visiting touristic places. It brings me joy when i visit some secluded places like Oases in North Africa and the Sahara desert and show their beauty to other through google maps. When I’m in my hometown Tozeur, i like to go to different restaurants or cafes to support small local businesses and i made a list on google maps to places where visitors can eat and i see that it’s already helping many in this small town. When I’m in Tunis i try to go to different cafe shops and review as many places as possible around my university area to help the new students.
5. Fun fact about me: My friends find it funny whenever i stop in the middle of the street to take a picture of a random place, then I tell them oh this is for google maps! I can tell they already got used to it and they just wait for me when I’m doing my local guide job haha

In the lush green forests of Ranthambore and enjoying the old culture with cheetahs.Here the mind became giddy after seeing the pure and natural sight in the air.I would advise if you ever visit Sawai Madhopur district in the Indian state of Rajasthan, then definitely see it.

Hello Local guide friends!!
First of all I would like to introduce myself, my name is Pamika, but you can call me Pam or Melisse. I have been a local guide since 2 years before but I am new in Local guides connect. I currently live in France in a small city called Villeneuve le roi, which 10km from the south of Paris. I like to stay home but in the other hand, I love to travel also. Can say that I am lazy, hahahaha. So, I need someone to motivate me to get out of the house. But when I am out, I don’t want to go back anymore, I want to explore everywhere!! I like to take the photos of the places I visit. I love to go shopping, visit art museums, and go to restaurants. I am flexitarian, normally when I am home I like to cook, so I eat no meat. But if I am at the restaurant, I eat everything because I like to try every new kinds of food.
Sometimes, when we visit some places or try new food, we always share our opinions with our families and friends, why not share them to the others also? That’s why I have become a local guide, so that I can share my experiences and my comments with you all.
I’m happy to connect with you all and it would be a greatly appreciate for your help and support.
