Index Page Of African Local Guides(ALG)-African Corner

Index Page Of African Local Guides ALG

Hello there,

This has been an idea I have had in my mind for a good while now. It’s slow and hard to get going but anyway it’s finally coming together now. This is an Index page or space or area where we can find most African local guides. On this space we would like to encourage introduction, communication, interaction, questions and activities regarding African Local Guides on the continent as a whole.

We also plan to make this space an area where you can find events relating to the ALGs. Therefore, everything regarding ALGs in one place for easy and future reference of local guides at large

There has been an attempt some time ago to Connect African Local Guides here. Well, there wasn’t a follow up. This time around, this space will be closely monitored and updated.

We are planning to have V.Connect All Africa Meet-up.(V.CAAM) this weekend. We look forward to an exciting time together.

There have also been at least 7 series of AVMS in 2020.

Series of AVMs announcement here!

Maps contribution I love most : My contributions as a Level 9 Local Guide are a significant and invaluable effort in enriching the map and helping people.

Certainly, every photograph I’ve taken documenting the nature of the Fes-Meknes region, and every helpful and precise edit I’ve made, has had a major impact.

Hi @SholaIB@SholaIB, that will be great. It will be so good to have here in Benin city. I am very sure I can benefit from your wealth of experience as a very senior level GLG. I believe we have some heritage like the great Benin moot that the world still needs to know about. Perhaps we can also visit Igun Street where we can see great Benin Bronze art works that date back to centuries. I look forward to sharing some great moments and ideas with you. My warm regards
