[In-Person] Bangladesh, December 15, Mountain edge to sea shore map editing & cycling expedition meetup

Hello Local Guides! I’m planning to host a Meet-up from 15th to 20th December 2025, and I would love to invite you all if You’re cyclists.

About Meetup: From the last year I’m organized a different Meet-up named “Border Roads Cycling and Map Editing Meetup in the Borderlands” with expedition at remote area of borderland where active local guides isn’t available for map editing & spam remove. This year I have also planed an expedition from another high altitude border district known as Bandarban to the last land of Southeast district of Cox’s Bazar known as Shah porir dwip, Teknaf. My route From Bandorban to Teknaf via Nilgiri, Thanchi, Dim pahar, Alikodom, Cox’s Bazar & Marine drive road to Teknaf.

However, due to the lack of active Local Guides in this area, many of these important locations have not been properly added or verified on Google Maps. Some listings have inaccurate information, and unfortunately, spam entries are also present.

Date: 15th to 20th December 2025 (6 day long)

BDLG meetup no: 276

Location: Bandarban to Teknaf (300 kM approximate)

Activities: Map editing, place verification, photo add, spam remove, reviewing etc.

Requirement for join:

  • You’re invited to join with us if you’ve a Mountain bike or Road bike & All others accessories related bike maintenance with proper knowledge.
  • Tent, sleeping bag, cooking set etc.
  • Smartphone, Power bank.

If you’re interested to join, please comment below. You can also join if our route matched with your current location. Looking forward to mapping with you all with unforgettable journey.
