I hope it gets worked out. But a Google representative already told me nothing can be done as those rewards are given out automatically. She made it pretty clear they were unable to help. The only resolution she could offer was for me to post about it on this board. I really don’t know how that will accomplish anything as it says right on here that Google employees do not engage on this board.
@TravellerG Great that you received the package! Just curious, did you ever actually redeem the award? What was the reason you filled in the form? The fact that you recevied the package means you were able to succesfully redeem the reward and filled in with your shipping info. Was this not the case?
If you filled out the information and were able to hit the submit button, I would assume you will get the reward. Unfortunately I was not able to complete the form before it glitched out and disappeared, never to be found again.
I chatted and emailed Google. The only response they could give was a referral to this board. So in answer to your question…No, Google is not working to fix this problem. Sadly, some of us are just out of luck. Google has made it clear to me there is nothing they can do.
