I just got an email from Google maps to redeem my pin but i am unable to redeem.

One thing I noticed is that when I was filling my form , it just vanished in mid way after that it started to show the errors . Then I went to FAQs , changed my address as parcel was not yet out, I put the same adress again and 5-6 days later , I got mail for my courier from Germany.
I advise everyone to use this trick, if it shows that address cant be changed then it is dispatched.

@Abhi_vishu99 While looking at the screenshot you have shared, there could be a possibility that it has been claimed by you earlier and the request might be in progress. Such kind of error message comes in similar cases.

I would suggest to wait for couple of weeks, you might receive the PIN at your mailing address, if earlier it is claimed properly.

I have recieved a tracking Link by DHL few days back so I guess they resolved my issue.

I surely redeemed the sward; but couldn’t get the CONFIRMATION EMAIL… that was the problem. Incidentally, I received the gift without the confirmation email.

Because I didn’t get the confirmation email.

Though I did these things, the message was " YOU WILL GET A CONFIRMATION EMAIL SHORTLY" - which I didn’t get after 2 weeks also - that creates the anxiety.

I have same issue, when I added code and email id from FAQ page I got below error message:

ā€œError: A network-related or instance-specific error occurred while establishing a connection to SQL Server. The server was not found or was not accessible. Verify that the instance name is correct and that SQL Server is configured to allow remote connections. (provider: Named Pipes Provider, error: 40 - Could not open a connection to SQL Server)ā€

I am from India. @iyudhi please help me to get it fixed.

How you reached to address info page.? Because most of us are structed on Redeem page only still it’s showing ā€˜issue with your code’ @Chandni1320

Hello @AngieY or anyone else that can help me. I received an email from local guides saying I was able to redeem a local guides pin. I copied the redemption code and entered it into website then las min it said something went wrong and now it won’t let me redeem my pin please help id really like to receive that.

@TravellerG thanks for the confirmation about the issue. We brought this up to the team, but glad to know that the package still arrived even when you didn’t get the email confirmation.

@Hareshwar might be connection issue at the time. Try it again at different time and see if you can do it this time, or try a different browser or Incognito mode.

To address your issue,please try the redemption code in a different browser from what you normally use E.g try on Firefox or chrome etc. Just to see if it will work

Another thing you can also do is switch over to desktop if you have tried on a mobile or the other way round. Kindly let us know which one works. If it doesn’t we can then escalate it.

This happens at times if by mistake the same code is entered for more than one time. System captures the code and assume that it is already used.

Suggest to wait for couple of weeks if it is already claimed you will receive the Google map Pin else the code may be released to you if not entered properly.

@iyudhi connection is good, I also tried in different browser and incognito mode too. but problem still persist the same. expiry date for redemption is 15th April. could you please help me to redeem it as soon as possible?

Hi @iyudhi , the same thing happened to me too, as suggested i have tried from different browsers and devices too. but same issue.
i also tried to post in the FAQ page that the code is not working and i get a different error there.
i’m from INDIA and the last date for redemption is on 15th of April 2023. please help me out.

Guys keep 3 three things in mind.

  1. Use laptop

  2. Check internet connectivity

  3. Copy and paste the code , just dnt used it automatically.

If still the same thing happens and or mid way your form get disrupted, go to FAQs, try to change address, it is possible to change address then surely you will get your rewards.

I did but none of that heads me anywhere can we please escalate this. If there an email or a number that I can use to get help.

@iyudhi I was able to redeem the code and completed the order process.
It said that I would be reciving a confirmation in an hour, but it has been more that 5 hours and no confirmation.
