I recently submitted a few road edits on Google Maps, such as renaming and adding missing roads. I’m curious to know how long it usually takes for these edits to get reviewed and approved.
Also, is there a daily limit to the number of road edits we can submit, or any guidelines to ensure edits are processed faster?
Hi, in this month most of my added road are approved next day. However I have also many roads added long time ago and it still have status “pending”.
If you want increase chance to approve your added road try added it close to your destination.

There is no daily limit for submitting the roads. For renaming it will take few days - few weeks / month’s time for review, if the information is correct it will be get approved. For new roads it will be taken few days - weeks / months time for review. You will get the approval after reviewing and also there is chances to get rejection too. Few of new roads are get approval / rejection in few hours only.
For the quick approval don’t add too much long roads add shortly. If there’s any connection roads (street) first add the main road which is important and after approval connect other roads.

I saw that in this moment you are at 0 roads added. In my opinion you will see your approval in one week (minimum) but do not expect to see all of them. They can also be rejected.
Editing Daily Limits
Few months ago I had to rest home for some weeks and I decided to “Edit the most”, my fever to reach 100.000 new roads.
I add for 5 days in a row an average of 1200 roads a day. The peak was 1560. My maximum approval rate was 1200 in one day but, in the last 9 months the average was 239

Hello @Ranu5g. Congratulations for making a start on road drawing. Your earliest approvals take a bit longer until you prove yourself. It’s best to focus on quality rather than quantity, and get it done right.

@Ranu5g my edits are getting approved faster now … But the count on the contributions are getting updated slowly… Yesterday alone …out of 68 roads I edited 42 approved… But only 21 them got added to my existing contribution count till now …

There seems to be a lag between the approval emails, the addition to the count on the profile, and awarding the matching points for the number of roads.
Seems like we just need to keep on working and assume the reward will come in eventually.
