What I love sharing the most on Google is experiences in hotels - from world class 7 star, to that rural village guest house.
Why do I do this? I travel a lot, so hotels are second homes sometimes. I feel a 7 star hotel can improve by learning from the intimacy and simplicity of a village guest house but at the same time, the local boarding and lodging improve its standards by learning from systems and organisation of a 5 star hotel. Problem is, the management will usually never listen to me (although they will pretend to), for the fact that I am a lone voice. Google guides therefore helps me to be able to post the weaknesses and praise the best of a facility.
Because millions of travelers will see these online, the pressure to perform will be on them and they will have no choice but to listen to me and atleast try to implement what I am saying. Hence it amplifies my voice (well post) in a way u never would have thought! That is why I love sharing on Maps.
