Explore MP - An Initiative to bring unexplored Heritage to the World 🌍

Madhya Pradesh – the heart of India – is a land of vibrant culture, ancient heritage, mesmerizing wildlife, and stories hidden in the folds of time. From the grandeur of Khajuraho and the serenity of Sanchi Stupa to the wild beauty of Kanha and Bandhavgarh, MP has always captured the world’s attention.

But this is just the beginning.

Have you ever heard rocks play music in the heart of a forest?
Do you know where Lord Parshuram Ji was born?
Think Kailash Temple in Ellora is the only rock-cut marvel? Think again.
Ever seen a cluster of intricate temples all in one place?
Guess where the design of India’s Old Parliament House was inspired from?
Know the name of the magnificent waterfall on Maa Narmada, now lost under water after Bhedaghat?

No?
Well, all the answers lie in our new series Explore MP, where we take you to places you’ve probably never seen on a postcard.

From Kawadiya Hills’ musical stones, Dharmarajeshwar caves of Mandsaur, Bateshwar temple complex, Mitawali’s circular marvel, to Orchha’s stunning cenotaphs – we’re going beyond the ordinary to bring the lesser-known gems into the spotlight.

And here’s the best part – it’s not just about MP Local Guides.
We’re inviting Local Guides from across India to share their Madhya Pradesh travel experiences. Whether it’s a hidden lake, an unexplored fort, or a cultural tradition you witnessed – we want to hear it all!

Just fill out our Google Form with your experience or idea, and we’ll work with you to shape it into a Connect post that inspires many.

@LovePathak28 Bharat Mata’s face is not in the lens of my camera, but in the lens of my eyes, so I cannot show her here through a photo. But I will share with you a very beautiful thing. A saree made of traditional handicraft printing from Bagh town of Dhar district, which I bought for my mother from the Handicraft Art Exhibition held at Connaught Place, New Delhi.

Hi @LovePathak28,

I’m removing the “In the news” and “Introduce Yourself” tags from your topic as they are not used correctly in this case.

The “In the news” tag should be used if you have your story about your Local Guides or Google Maps achievements featured in any news outlets, local or online. As for the “Introduce Yourself” should be use to introduce yourself in the community.

Using the right tags on your topics makes it a breeze for other Local Guides to find what they’re looking for in the community.
