Coming together is a beginning, let's progress and succeed

Coming together is the beginning.
Keeping together is progress.
Working together is success.

The first part was accomplished at the Contributors Conversation event on 1 October 2024.
About 40 local guides from all over India came together for an evening function in Google’s Office in Delhi NCR.

The event was spearheaded by elegant, influential and supportive leaders @Kristen_NYC and @Latika_Malhotra .

They welcomed everyone, introduced the event objectives, felicitated top local guides, and also hosted a short interview of the Indian moderators.

:tada: Absolutely thrilled and excited since all of you were part of the Google meet-up in Gurugram – you’re among the lucky few :+1: ! And what a great post share, @Tushar_Suradkar! It was a pleasure meeting him in person at the Jantar Mantar meet-up the day before. And all the LG s who travelled from all across :small_airplane: to Gurugram. Huge thanks  , @TusharSuradkar for your time and valuable insights.

On a side note, there’s always a bit of a left-out feeling :slightly_frowning_face: being from Noida, as I’ve always wanted to be part of such meet-ups. With this event organized by the Google India team, it would have been an incredible experience and a great learning and interactive platform for Local Guides like us. Please consider including us in your next event if possible, @TusharSuradkar @Kristen_NYC @Latika_Malhotra

(Missed out on the Google merchandize too , I still wear the Google Map pin i got few years back with pride the way my Dad used to wear his Indian Army uniform with his stars on the shoulders)

Looking ahead for more such events coordinated from GOOGLE INDIA TEAM. Next one should be in South India, since am from Hyderabad ,settled in Noida.

Over all am very proud & happy to be part of this wonderful community! Cheers :handshake:

Thank you for sharing such a wonderful recap of the Contributors Conversation @TusharSuradkar . It truly sounds like an incredible experience, and I regret that I couldn’t join this time. It would be fantastic if similar meet-ups could be organized in South India in the future. I’m sure many Local Guides from this region would be excited to join in and contribute. It’s always inspiring to hear about such enriching events, and I hope to be part of the next one closer to my region.

Looking forward to many more successful collaborations shortly.

Thank you :pray:t2:
