Google’s Contributor Conversations was organized in their Gurugram office.
Gurugram is technically in the state of Haryana.
But is part of Delhi NCR - a noncapital region.

We were hosted in the Crowne Plaza Hotel.
Within the hotel was Artisan’s Atelier.

This outlet is accessible from the hotel’s lobby and is a cake lover’s paradise.

I stepped in curiously and felt like one big eye :eyes:

They had a comfortable and lavish seating arrangement.
There were also glass showcases displaying their best cakes, cookies, and muffins.

Outside the cake shop, the interior decorations in the lobby area were amazing.

From the ceilings to the walls and the floor and the corners, they left no stone unturned to make the visuals stunning.

The washrooms were astounding.

They were spotless clean, complete with a waiting area that also had a bench and a shoe cleaner.

I could not believe this was the same hotel that I passed in front of daily on my commute to the office while living in Gurugram for 5 years.

The last time a dream came true was 5 years ago in Detroit.

Wahrlich ein Paradies für Kuchen Liebhaber, welch eine Auswahl. Auf den fantastischen Bilder habe ich dort sogar Nutella erblickt :yum:
Auch das Hotel sieht besonders gut aus, ein sehr schöner und informativer Beitrag @TusharSuradkar

Beautiful indoor photo you shared with us @TusharSuradkar of Artisan’s Atelier. I have a doubt, as I seen some beautiful sculptures, does this cake shop has something to do with art? Also does it provide Gender neutral bathrooms ?

Bei Asien Reisen haben wir immer in erstklassigen Hotels gewohnt und was mich dort am meisten beeindruckt hat waren in der Lobby riesige, wunderschöne Blumengestecke, einfach umwerfend schön.

What is special about Nutella? is it your favorite?

Recently I and my wife took our 14-year-old daughter to a cafe, and in an instance, she ordered a Nutella sandwich. This was 5 days ago.

I did not know about Nutella until then. Surprising… :smile:

The art and the cake shop together are part of the larger Crowne Plaza Hotel in Delhi.
Both were well-decorated.

Oops…! I missed noting if the washrooms were gender-neutral.
I do not remember seeing a sign though.

Flowers are used extensively for decorations from homes to temples and shops to hotels.
They are available fresh and in abundance and cheap.
If you find a photo of the flower decorations, by chance, kindly do share :smiling_face:

Nutella besteht hauptsächlich aus Schokolade, sehr süß und ist hier in Deutschland ein beliebter Brotaufstrich, so in Art wie Marmelade und Honig wird es meistens zum Frühstück gegessen. Ich mag es nicht sonderlich weil es mir zu süß ist.

Irrtum Annaelisa, im Nutella ist gar keine Schokolade :laughing: Nur Zucker, Nüsse, irgendwelche Fette und Geschmacksstoffe.
Genauer gesagt: “… besteht überwiegend aus Zucker mit Zutaten von Palmöl, gerösteten Haselnüssen, Milchpulver, Kakao, Sojalecithin und Vanillin.”

Okay, @WilfriedB eine sehr ausführliche Beschreibung der Zutatenliste, durch den Kakao sieht Nutella nach Schokolade aus und ist nicht meins. Ich bevorzuge zum Frühstück Zuckerrübensaft, ist vegan und nicht so ungesund.

Good question, @TusharSuradkar!
At least in Europe, it is very popular since many decades mainly by young people. It is a product of Ferrero in Italy, but probably produced in many places worldwide.
An American ex-colleague of mine was buying it during all trips to Europe. He claimed, the European version would taste differently from those sold in the US. I cannot confirm, since I don’t like neither - too much sugar! :laughing:
