Chai Pe Charcha 2025 spotlight

Hy Local Guides,

As we wrap up for 2025, I wanted to take a moment to spotlight one of the heartwarming and impactful challenges on Connect - Chai Pe Charcha :teapot:, initiated by @TusharSuradkar. What started as a call for meetup inspiration has turned into a massive movement of supporting small businesses, fostering friendships and discovering hidden gems.

From Pink Tea in Lucknow to Bellam Tea in South India and from Zafran Chai to Mountain Brews, it wasn’t just about Chai but was about Charcha (connection) with supporting small businesses, celebrating culture and bringing local guides together.

This year, Chai Pe Charcha has crossed a phenomenal milestone - 165 glorious episodes.

Why was this Challenge special? :thinking:

Participating in this challenge made us explore our neighborhood. We didn’t just have tea and map locations, we added value to the community.

A Challenge is nothing without its community and fellow local guides. A massive round of applause for :five::two:+ Local Guides :sparkles: who stepped in for a sip of chai and updated Maps this year.
