If you ever want to take a quick break from the busy life of Delhi, Majnu Ka Tila is the perfect place. The moment I reached there, I felt like I had entered a whole new world — almost like I’d been teleported to another country.
The streets are full of color, with Tibetan flags hanging above, the smell of incense in the air, and soft chants coming from the Buddhist Monastery. It was so peaceful. I spent some quiet time inside the monastery, just looking around and feeling calm. The walls were beautifully painted, and the monks were sitting peacefully — it really made me slow down and enjoy the moment.
After that, I decided to try some local food. I had Laphing — it’s a cold, spicy Tibetan snack. Honestly, I didn’t like it much. Maybe because I’m not used to the texture and taste. But I’m glad I tried it! Then I had a boba tea for ₹150 — now that was nice and refreshing.
Walking around, I noticed how different everything felt. The shops, the food, the people — it didn’t feel like Delhi at all. It was calm, colorful, and full of culture.
