Everyone has their preference of contributing. For me, reviews is my thing as I get to share my opinion with the world and help people make decisions, same as how other people help me make decisions using Google Maps in daily life.
Today I finally reached 2000 reviews. 99% of them are detailed reviews as I like to write some words when I rate a place to give context for my rating.
If you want to identify which of your reviews are hidden check this post.
Please use the form called Account Investigation for contributions not visible on Google Maps if you believe that some of your contributions have been wrongfully unpublished. Keep in mind, it takes several weeks for the check to be done, and you will not be notified about the result, so I suggest you check the status of your reviews once a week or so.
Thanks @Annaelisa for pointing this out, appreciate it!
And also thanks to @MortenCopenhagen for this information. I did not know about that. I always make sure to follow the review policy and am sure that the filters are indeed preventing my reviews to get published. I just submitted the form, and hope to have news soon.
Hello @MortenCopenhagen , as you know I submitted the form you suggested a few days ago. You advised me to check the reviews once in a while.
But I wanted to ask you, since I have more than 1000 reviews which are not published, how to do these checks? I am still writing a lot of new reviews and wonder if these even get published.
Just open your Maps profile in Incognito mode. Then open your review contribution list. The number of reviews at the top of the page is the number of public reviews.
I would not make new reviews until this issue is resolved.
