Hi Lajour, generally speaking in most places in the world if you are outside in a public space you do not need permission, but if you are inside then that changes considerably. Many building owners and businesses do not want photographs made inside their premises partly for security, but also because they want to tightly control their own brand and how it is presented. You must be careful to understand and follow your local laws and customs when photographing as a Local Guide. When inside a commercial premises I encourage you to always ask before you shoot.
