"See all things" mode is needed!

I wish there could be a mode  in GOOGLE  Maps where I could see all the available places (like stores, coffe shops, schools, clinics,  tyre services ets) in a chosen area. 

Sometimes I want to see what is on the street around but scaling doesn't help to see it well. Places appear rendomly.

I can get behind this. Like a feature that will only show things within a few metres of you, or you can define how far away you want to see. Fo example, a setting to show all within 500 metres or something.

Yes. This is a good feature to have. Now gmap shows only popular places in many areas. These places were indicated when we tried to add the same after finding that places that were not in gmap.
