Suggested Lists on Google Maps

As a side exercise a couple of weeks ago, I went back through all of my reviews (2,000 of them) in an attempt to determine which ones were set as private.

As a positive consequence of this laborious process, I found a number of locations and destinations which I had travelled to before the list functionality was introduced on Google Maps. It gave me a chance to create lists for some of my more remote travels through China, Jordan, Mongolia, Malta and Turkey.

It would be a much simpler process if Google Maps could suggest lists based on a number of characteristics in a similar way that photo apps on phones suggest albums according to location tags and timelines.

Similarly, I've just returned from Myanmar and it would be a much easier process if Google Maps prompted a suggestion 'Hi David, it looks like you had fun in Myanmar - here's a list of the places that you checked into'.

Visibility of previously visited places and comparison of public and private views is a seperate suggestion that I'll make another time 😄
