I live in Johannesburg, South Africa, and there are regularly power outages across the country. The power outages can be very disruptive, and result in hours wasted in traffic due to traffic lights being out.
Power outage schedules are available from Eskom, however, one only really ever checks when one's own area will be affected and it is difficult to check areas one may travel through (schedules are not very user-friendly).
It would be great if Google Maps could:
Indicate on Google Maps if load shedding is imminent in a certain area, or is currently occurring in a certain area, so one could better plan travel time, routes, etc.
