Local Guide Connect via Google Maps

Google Maps should have a mail-forwarding feature to connect with Local Guides. For example, if I identify an unusual tourist destination, including photos or other information posted via Google Maps, which in turn indicates a Local Guide's avatar, it would be useful to try to connect with that Local Guide, giving him/her the option of responding or not. Another possibility is enabling the Local Guide to select or deselect auto-forwarded queries (and indicate whether the Local Guide does or does not accept queries). Presently, neither of these options is possible. Some sort of contact feature for Local Guides would be a highly useful feature for travelers and researchers using Google Maps. [Note: This idea concerns Google Maps, Connect, and Local Guides.]

Allows travelers and researchers to interact with Local Guides, at their discretion, when encountered via Google Maps.

Connect should be a part of the Maps app. Right now, on the Maps app, on the right side is a menu, like Contributions, where you can see the reviews you've posted. Since Connect seems like it basically works off of reviews that Google users write, it would make sense to combine the two by adding Connect as part of the menu on Maps; especially since Connect doesn't even have an app.

Hello guys! I see a lot of passionate Local Guides reviewing and adding photos of places I have contributed to or about to on Google Maps who don't really understand the program that much and don't follow some of the basic guidelines of contributing on Maps. I always want to reach out and share my little knowledge with them which will subsequently help improve their contribution also to connect with local guides easily within my city/town and organize meet-ups. The only possible channels to reach out is always very hard because if you search for their social media accounts you will see so many similar names sometimes duplicate accounts.  Also, privacy and being contacted by total strangers can be another issue. I believe so many Local Guides here face the same difficulty and if this idea is implemented it will certainly grow the quality of contributions, more meet-ups, more connect members and understanding of the overall program. I will also suggest strict rules for this so it serves the sole purpose.  Thank you for taking your precious time to read and voting 😊.
