Category Sorting for Community Feed "Explore" Tab

Recently the community feed feature was added to the Google Maps Explore tab - and it is full of great information and updates from news sources, local businesses, and Local Guides like us.

While the feed contains all of this information, it would be helpful to add the ability to sort through the updates we see in the community feed (such as a visual toggle of sorts). 

As a poor visual example 😂, here's a screenshot showing how the feed is baked into the Explore tab now and I have a mock-up of what button toggles could be like at the top of the community feed. For instance, green button can sort for news, yellow button sorts local businesses, and blue toggle (or orange 😉) could toggle for Local Guide reviews/photos.

It would even be great if there was a toggle to discover featured lists in the feed as well. While the implementation is excellent, having the power as a user to screen through updates I'd like to see in the feed would be great.

We would like to thank you for your idea, but we did not manage to implement it in time. According to our Idea Exchange policies we are going to close your idea.
