Can we get a dedicated mobile app for Local Guides Connect please?

I think this is one of the most requested idea regarding Connect, but I'm going to repeat it since we now have a (more) official space to document ideas and feedback.

The mobile experience using browser is not very pleasant, as it's pretty much difficult to do... well.. everything. Creating a post from mobile is out of the question, as most of the time I'm fumbling over different buttons before I gave up and decided to write it once I'm in front of my computer.

Please google make an app for local guide connect. Because site is so boring.

@Kamal_Yadav At the moment there isn't a Connect app. That's probably part of the reason the new Connect was designed to be more touch screen friendly in my opinion. Previous Connect interface is a list based interface which is in my opinion really good for desktop use with a mouse. However the previous Connect was a bit hard to navigate with a small screen device such as a mobile phone. The new Connect has a more tiled look and is less cluttered and the tiles are easier to touch with a finger navigation. It just got launched, and I think over time many of us will become much more familiar with it. Just give it a bit of time for ourselves to get use to it.

So yesterday I was searching for Mobile application for local guides on google play store and I found some irrelevant apps from different developers. If there is any official app, kindly inform me or

I think Google maps should develop an app for our community.

It'll help us to connect more easily & contribute more effectively.

i would love to have a google connect application in our google play store for all of us..which would not only save our time but easy and efficient to use. lets get apt and all vote for this application to start soon.
