Approval-Downvote System for Pictures, Videos and Reviews by Local Guides

Hi, my idea is fairly simple. There should be a cross-check barrier, an approval system for the Pictures being uploaded to Google Maps platform by Local Guides.

I've seen every next landmark (Hospital, Hill Station, Bus Stand, Courts, etc.) getting spammy pictures and videos uploaded.

It's not a big problem for locals but it can be a big problem for tourist from another city or country who rely on Google Maps to make a decision. I personally felt this issue while travelling to a nearby state.

There should be an approval system like a Downvote for Picture, Videos and Reviews posted by Local Guides.

Yes this is definitely a good idea . To add on

1)Face recognised clear faces photos to be blocked automatically 

2)one photo used in one location could not be used to another place 

3) A photo of a place cannot be added directly to area name , state etc if geo tag is not correct

Above all, the process to mark a picture as spam is tedious. The process should be simplified or hand-picked Local Guides should be offered a bulk tool to process images and mark the spammy ones which can be filtered out later.

The reporting and up/down voting tools you describe are already available and easy to use on Google Search on desktop. Hopefully one day this system will be duplicated on other platforms such as Android, iOS and desktop Maps.

Yes I have observed this too so many time upon thinking the solution is just when many local guiter about 5 disapprove of the photo of a place appeared to be wrong the specific local guiter must be punished by Google either by being removed or other forms of punishment I think this will help
