🌾🚫 Add filter for Allergy food preference

I know that this has been discussed in many posts from a while ago, but I need to insist in this needed improvement on the search of food preferences on Google Maps.

I'am based on my last travel inside my country. I have travel to a known region for us , but certainly we need with my family search from new restaurants gluten free options, in different cities.

It was almost impossible and very hard to find this category of restaurants in Google Maps. Sometimes cause de category was wrong, sometimes cause it turns difficult for the user to search this restaurants type on the app.

We, The Local Guides make the exercise to arrange and clean the map,  but sometimes is not enough, and little changes are needed.

So I think If for a "local" was difficult to find an allergy friendly place I cant't imagine how could be for a foreign visitor.

I suggest to ad a new filter inside the Restaurant TAB with the ALLERGY FRIENDLY filter like the example below.

The filter maybe could bring the category of the POI or a key word(gluten free - Allergy) included on the reviews.

All together be build a better Google Maps for all!

We would like to thank you for your idea, but we did not manage to implement it in time.

According to our Idea Exchange policies we are going to close it. Local Guides can still vote and we can come back to this Idea at a later point.
