"Ratings vs Reviews"

Hey guys! Fairly new at this and wanted to understand how the points system works? Also I understand that by just leaving a Rating is the way to get one and Leaving a reviews is how you get those....very simple. However are the points still the same? Wouldn't it makes sense that a real review would be worth more points? Also I would like to know what different contributions give what points. Any help? Thanks!

Hi @Your_Local_Guide when you leave a rating you receive 1 point.

When you add a review to a rating, this point will vanish, and will be integrated into the 6 points released for the review.

@LucioV Thank you! what points do you get for the other contributions? ie. posting photos, confirming information and etc?

5 point for each photo

7 point for each video (actually only from Android)

5 point for each place edit

15 points for each place add

1 point for each checked fact

3 points for each question answered
