Hi @gsm0786 depends what kind of place it is, if it is a business or a point of interest like a tourist attraction then you can add them through the Maps App on your phone or desktop. If it is a road or area then the only way is to send feedback via the App for the attention of the Maps moderators. Let me know if you need detailed instructions.
As a Local Guide, you earn points for sharing reviews, photos, and knowledge on Google Maps. Those points lead to higher levels of the program, as well as benefits like early access to Google features and special perks.
If you notice the map screen does not scroll or pan smoothly, you can try using a version of Google Maps calledLite mode. Sometimes, Lite mode will automatically open up if you’re using Google Maps:
