What is the  role of a. Google moderator and a connect moderator?  Which  is. the highest level in moderator and what they are called as?  Can a local guide be a moderator and what level he or she has to achieve to become a moderator?

Google moderator is the one who works for Google company (employees)

Whereas connect moderator is a local guide just like you .

The work of moderator is to help other local guiDes about their queries related to Connect ,Google maps.

Connect moderator is a volunteer work you won't get any payment for it.

How to become a Moderator?

Google moderator-For this you have to apply through career website of Google.(which is paid)

Connect moderator-If you are consistent contributor in Google maps ,active member in connect , friendly and welcoming person Google will invite you to become a local guide which is unpaid.
