What I love about being a Local Guide:
It's a rarity these days that you'll find people who absolutely love their jobs. I'm one of those few. I am a Google local Guide and I love it. To me it's a blast, and I'm totally in love with this extra job. There is plenty of reasons why I love to be a local guide, but here are just some of the reasons why being a local guide is the best job ever:
1. You get to meet new people.
2. You get to talk about your favorite place.
3. You get to see others get excited about being at your favorite place.
4. You make a huge impact in people's lives.
5. You help to improve other people’s travel experience.
6. People trust you
Being a local guide has taught me multiple things along with all of the ones aforementioned; it's important to be patient, it's important to be tolerant, it's important to be kind, and it's important to be personable. You are in a position that could turn someone on or off to the idea of make a trip and it's also an incredibly powerful and amazing position to be in.
My favorite place:
Peru is a country rich in culture and tourist destinations, it is very difficult for me to choose a favorite place. In fact I think that all my country is my favorite place (lol) I invite you to come visit, believe me, you will see my recommendations in each place you visit 🙂
Background:
I’m half black half latina. My family is Afro-Peruvian and I really love to have this both cultures trough my veins. Peruvian culture, music and food is the best, I’m proud of who I am.
