Hello,
I am Sathya Narayanan Subramanian an Advocate from Coimbatore, India. I specialize in Cyber Law and Cyber Security. I've been contributing to Google Maps since 2007, I'm currently at Level 7 and reaching Level 8. I travel a lot for work and I try to make use of the opportunity to take some good photos of the local cuisine that are available as their own distinctive matter. I also make it a point to add new places to the Maps whenever I find an amazing place missing out of Google Maps. The best thing I like is that the approvals are crowd-sourced, and we do not have to wait for Google by itself to approve it. I have personally received many feedbacks about the photos of food that I take, and people who wantonly visit a place just to try out that particular dish, just after seeing my photos. Tandoori Chicken & Shawarma are my favorite dishes. If you've no idea about how they look, here is a pic. And, sorry, we don't have taste emitting sensors for personal PCs yet. You may have to travel down to South India for that! I would like to connect with people within Tamil Nadu so that we can meet up and do some food walk or some cool activities while catching up.

- What I love about being a Local Guide: I get the opportunity to share my genuine opinion of places that I have been to. It's great to be able to let people on Google to know what you think about a place! Your opinion is taken in account when deciding whether to go to a place. Just like what I'd love to have likewise.
- My favorite cuisine to explore:Asian food is definitely my kind of food, ranging from sweet-and-spicy Thailand food, to raw and yummy Japanese dishes! Malay-Indian food has been one of the biggest part of my life, you just have to try those that are in Penang island, Malaysia! Asian food is definitely my type of food.
- Fun Fact about me: I'm an outgoing person who always dream of going to places all around the world to experience others' cultures. Different culture all around the world has never failed to amaze me. Although I have only travelled to few places in Thailand; visiting tens of temples and seeing the culture there, I believe this is the just the start of it. Can't wait to explore more!!

- What I love about being a Local Guide: I work in IT and I write a blog on my leisure time to cover restaurants and my journey to coffee. I will cross-post my photos and review on Google Map for the world to share. It's been many years since I contributed to Google Map until now I realized there is a forum for local guides. Don't let my "newbie-ness" fool you as I have been a Google enthusiasts for since the early days of the Internet. I didn't even know this forum exist until I received the email for application for the Local Guide Summit.
I am in Vancouver and I often feel there isn't a lot of actions in Local Guides here because there aren't too many of us, and I just found out I was ever so wrong!! I met an individual living not to far from me and we connected on my first post.
