Vishu Sadhya
During Vishu, one of the highlight is to sit down with family members to have a vegetarian feast (usually lunch) called sadhya (which means feast in Malayalam). Here rice is served on a banana leaf and eaten with many varieties of vegetarian condiments. Below is a fairly complete structure of a Kerala sadhya, although a basic sadhya may consist of less items than the elaborate one below.
One of my favorite condiments is Aviyal or Avial, which is a festive vegetable stew with ground coconut and milk curd. Really delicious with rice and pickles. The below is a basic Aviyal recipe made by me at home.

@StephenAbraham Feels like i need to have it (sadhya) now itself after seeing this image and video. Avial is my fav and payasam is the show stopper.
