Selection of participants for the Local Guide Summit

Hi friends!

The Local Guides program evaluates users by placing points for their contribution.

At the same time, the selection criteria for participation in the summit are rather blurred.

I suggest the Local Guides team, before the summit

Place a table on the www.localguidesconnect.com

Publish a list of members in the table
specifying the criteria (in points) on which they are chosen.

Thanks for sharing your idea, @AndriyDegula. We are going to need some further information to make sure we are on the same page. Are you referring to a list of Local Guides to be viewed as examples of behaviour who already have been part of a Summit or the new-chosen ones?

Таким образом я смогу более конкретно описать свое предложение.

После отбора кандидатов на саммит в 2019 году

предлагаю на localguidesconnect опубликовать таблицу участников, которые поедут в калифорнию.

В таблице указать (шифром или флагом) из какой страны местный эксперт.

Таким образом, мы увидим, едет ли кто конкретно с нашей страны.

Так же в таблице указать (в баллах) по какому критерию отбора, сколько баллов и в суме количество баллов.

Таким образом, процедура отбора будет прозрачной.

 Из за не прозрачности отбора я перестал подавать заявки с 2016 года.

totally  agree  - if someone is to be invited to such an event  - they have to earn it  and be active in promoting Google services and local countries and the choice cannot depend on the LUCK only as this will bring down the enthusiasm of others
